Section 29A of the Factory and Machinery Act 1967 ; stipulate that no person shall manufacture, fabricate, test, instal, maintain, dismantle or repair any machinery which is prescribed unless a written authority has been issued by the chief inspector.
Regulation 5(1) of the Petroleum Safety Measures (Transportation of Petroleum by Pipeline), Regulation 1985; stipulate that no person shall install or caused to be installed any pipeline unless he or his authorised representative has obtained a written permission from the approving authority.
