Small and Medium Industrial Section
- Planning and monitoring all programs / new models such as WISE, Wiscon and WIND developed by strategy plan under the OSH MP 15 to be implemented by the State Offices.
- Setting up a strategy in assisting SMIs to comply with OSH legislation through the new initiatives and implementation progress is analyzed annually and recommends a review every five years.
- Formulating, reviewing and revising legislation and Department policies related to OSH to apply in SMI sector.
- Setting up a new strategy of hazards control which is identified from work activities of SMI.
- The integrated information to SMEs Section at State Offices and International Policy and Research Development Division DOSH ( OSHnet ASEAN, ASEM, ...).
- Receiving and gathering information and monthly reports for the activities conducted by SMI Section of State Offices.
- Analyzing the implementation information and effectiveness program / activities conducted by the State Offices.
- Providing advice, technical services and expertise to the State Offices, enterprises and SMIs.
- Coordinating the SMIs training program to DOSH officers especially who are directly involved in related sectors activities.
- Coordinating the harmonization of OSH legislation enforcement program in the SMI sector for the State Offices.
- Issue an annual report for SMIs.
Non-Factory Sector Section
- To enforce the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and the Factories and Machinery Act and their regulations for non-factory sector.
- Formulating, reviewing and revising legislation and Department policies related to OSH to apply in non-factory sector.
- Planning and monitoring OSH management system audit program implemented by the State Office.
- Receiving and gathering information and monthly reports for the activities conducted by Enforcement Section of State Offices.
- Integrated information center to Non-Factory Sector Section (Enforcement Section) of State Office.
- Analyzing the implementation information and effectiveness program/activities conducted by the State Offices.
- Providing advice, technical services and expertise to the State Offices and non-factory sector.
- Coordinating the non-factory sector training program to DOSH officers especially who are directly involved in related sectors activities.
- Coordinating the harmonization of OSH legislation enforcement program in the non-factory sector for the State Offices.
- Producing an annual report specifically for non-factory sector to be supplied to the International Policy and Research Development Division, DOSH.
