JOHOR BAHARU: The Johor Health Department has launched a pre hospital service policy as a guide and reference for health workers in the state to ensure the department's efficiency.
Johor Health Committee Chairman Datuk Ayub Rahmat said Johor was one of the first states to produce the policy which contained several important components in pre hospital services including organisation, service scope, human resource, infrastructure, planning and human capital.
"The policy also covers patient management, clinical administration and professional work ethics. It also covers the safety of health workers involved," he told reporters after launching the policy at the Sultan Ismail Hospital here today.
Ayub said the policy would hopefully result in a uniform pre hospital service for Johor and serve as a guide for other states in forming their own policies. --BERNAMA
